The Gateron Kangaroo Ink V2 is a premium tactile switch that features a beige translucent housing made from a new type of plastic. The spring inside is coated black (not gold plated as other vendors), which helps reduce spring noise. These switches are very smooth and provide a nice sound with a little crunch on the spring.
The Cherry MX Brown have undergone their new tooling with the Hyperglides. The result of this new tooling is increased smoothness, tighter tolerances, and increased service life of more than 100 million actuations. The housing is composed of Nylon for both the top and bottom with a POM stem.
The Pewter switches by Parallel Limited, are a light tactile switch with full UHMWPE housing in a smokey cool gray color and POM stem in a metallic pewter color. The material combo makes for a smooth feel (like a smoothed MX Brown) and “liquid rumble” sound.
